Mehwish Tapal  
4th Generation
 
 
Mehvish Tapal is a director at Tapal Tea. After completing an Hons degree (specialization in Business Management) from the Imperial College London, England she joined the family business. With a humble personality and a achievement oriented approach she started off her career as a trainee with a 3 year placement in the Human Resource Department. Well supported by her determination and inherent passion for HR she developed through this period to become a Unit Manager shouldering the responsibility of Talent Management at the company. After completion of her placement in HR she has moved onto a placement in the Marketing Department where she functions as a contributing member of the team looking after brand and corporate portfolio. She continues today as key member of the Strategic Management Team at Tapal Tea.
Kumalil Tapal  
4th Generation
 
 
For Kumail Tapal tea is as thick as blood. Being a 4th generation Tapal, he has nurtured a natural instinct for strategic management and innovation within the tea industry. Armed with an Undergraduate Honors degree in Business Administration (with a specialization in International Business) from an auspicious university in the UK, he returned to Pakistan in 2008 to focus on the practical aspects of business management. His stint abroad gave him the necessary tools to understand the changing global business environment and inculcated within him a broader perspective of international trade and business culture. Upon his return he underwent extensive training within various departments of the company in order to better understand the scope and depth of the business including its culture, policies and strategic philosophy. Currently, he is involved in our Exports Market while simultaneously training in the art of Tea Tasting, Blending and R&D aspects of our Tea Supply Chain.
